Motion
With the introduction of MOTION a few years ago, MARKER und VÖLKL opened a completely new
chapter in the construction of ski binding systems. The world premier MOTION has influenced skiing like few other inventions since. Back then,
integration
was the magic word - and it still is now! MOTION is a revolutionary, patented system
that allows skis and bindings to become a
functional unity and that gives ski boots even more direct contact with the skis. It guarantees a direct transfer of power from the skier,
via the binding and onto the ski - over the entire length of the sole. In addition to integration, screw free assembly is another trademark
of all MOTION systems. Nothing prevents or limits the free flex of the skis. It also retains its full elasticity in the binding area. The result
is a better and more precise edge grip and harmonious carving qualities.
iPT MOTION & internal Power Technology
The fully integrated binding system from MARKER und VÖLKL is still the best for high racing requirements, because the
"internal power technology" was seen at the world cup! The patented and award winning innovation ensures precise transfer of power and
optimum performance and more safety at high speeds. The interface between skis and binding is fully integrated into the inside of the ski. The
result: maximum contact surface and optimum impulse transfer from the ski boot to the ski, along the entire length of the ski. Like all MOTION
systems, iPT MOTION is also completely screw free. The high-tech system was developed as a unit with DOUBLE GRIP XTD construction and is used
in top of the range models from VÖLKL's alpine ski line. For even better shock absorption, the "internal power technology" can
also be combined with PISTON technology.

3Motion
The third generation of the patented MOTION family is here! Free flex and more edge grip with the highest degree of safety and
outstanding sport performance - that's what 3MOTION means. The youngest member of the MOTION ski-binding series was developed as an
integral component of the new POWER GRIP ski construction. The essential innovations include - in addition to the simple vertical assembly -
fixing both binding elements to four contact points directly over the edges. The benefits are obvious. The direct connection improves the transfer of
power on the edges. At the same time, the ski is hardly stiffened by the two separate components of the 3MOTION system (front and heel brakes) in the
binding area, as a result of which the flex in the binding area is even rounder and more harmonious.
