Power Switch
Power on / power off. If you ski then you'll know about this phenomenon: solid, icy pistes in the morning and, after a
few hours of sun, soft, yielding pistes in the afternoon. Whereas before, skiers had to use two different ski models to get the best out of the
day, a small handle now does the job - thanks to the POWERSWITCH. One of the most significant innovations since the invention of carving skis!
The patented future technology from MARKER and VÖLKL gives skiers the option of deciding themselves how their skis should react. Aggressive or
relaxed, powerful or soft - with POWERSWITCH the flex and the entire nature of the ski can be perceptibly changed and adapted to the
conditions on the piste or to the level of personal fitness.
There are two TUNING TUBES inside the skis that extend along the entire length of the ski. High strength CARBON STICKS glide inside them. Their
qualities change when the POWERSWITCH mechanism is activated. When the lever ("On") is activated, the CARBON STICKS stiffen. That gives
you a ski for aggressive skiing conditions and excellent short turns. When you release the CARBON STICKS ("Off"), the ski regains the
necessary flexibility for "easy cruising". The right setting to make your day on the piste comfortable. The innovative high tech system
itself works under extreme physical and thermal conditions and stands up impeccably to constant stress.
