For 11 out of the last 12 years, Völkl has earned 'Ski of the Year'
honors from SKI magazine. Now, for the second year in a row, two Völkl skis
have earned this honor. The Attiva Kiku is Völkl's big-mountain twin tip for
women who want the best ski for whatever kind of terrain is available on a
powder day. SKI magazine said it best: "It's a powder Miss Piggy with
manners, tops in almost every criterion and a runaway favorite overall." The
Tigershark 12 Foot Power Switch also earned Gear of the Year honors in a
repeat performance - "It's astonishing how much edge-hold a 79mm waist can
have, while its benefits in soft snow are self-evident," says SKI's
equipment guru Joe Cutts.
