3 Power Switch Settings:
Power - When the skier wants to ski hard with a
lot of energy
Dynamic - More relaxed ride than Power, the middle setting
Cruise - The off setting, for when the skier
wants to relax and just cruise
Introduced in 2007/2008, Power Switch is
the worlds fi rst on-board ski power adjustment.
Völkl engineers set out to make an even
more versatile Power Switch for next season,
featuring 3 distinct power settings.
Power Switch consists of dual carbon fi ber
rods encased in full-length longitudinal
tuning tubes. Moving the switch compresses
or releases springs at the front of each rod,
increasing or decreasing the skis power,
for the ultimate personalization. If the
skier wants to ski hard, with a lot of power,
getting the most rebound and energy from
the ski, the skier simply moves the switch
to the Power position. For a slightly more
relaxed ride that still has plenty of power
and rebound, put the switch in the Dynamic
or middle position. If the skier wants to relax
and just take it easy, the Cruise position
releases the tension on the elastomerregulated
springs, giving the ski less snap
and power, but a more relaxed ride.
