MOTION TECHNOLOGY

iPT Wideride

For skis wider than 80 mm, traditional binding systems make the skier work harder for the same performance. Marker and Vˆlkl developed the iPT Wide Ride system with a contact width 30% greater than standard. On top of that, the binding interface is closer to the edge of the ski. This helps the energy flow more directly and continuously to the edges. Wide Ride binding systems make wider skis more agile, responsive, and easier to control. They also improve edge grip.

rMotion2

The new rMotion2 bindings were developed in coordination with MARKER especially for the new CODE and Racetiger models. This is a complete system whose new, significantly lighter race plate ensures optimal flex and grip. With a 20% wider construction, thereís improved power transmission and control. The new toe piece also ensures greater stability, while the heel mechanism provides easier step in.

eMotion

Cosmetically adapted to the ESSENZA collection and featuring the Twincam heel for greater comfort, the eMotion series is the ideal high performance womenís system. The Triple Pivot Comfort Toe delivers power and control in a system that has been engineered for the perfect balance between light weight and performance.

xMotion

Similar to Markerís Glide Control system, Xmotion delivers the easiest adjustment with low stand height. The 12.0 model boasts the race-oriented TwinCam heel with easy entry and exit function even with higher ISO/DIN values.

4Motion

The growing demand for wider skis, especially in the mid-range price segment, inspired the development of the 4Motion System. Its wider ski connection optimizes power and performance for RTM and Essenza models.

4Motion Essenza

The growing demand for wider skis, especially in the mid-range price segment, inspired the development of the 4Motion System. Its wider ski connection optimizes power and performance for RTM and Essenza models.

3Motion TP Light

Our engineers created 3Motion as an integral component of Progressive Technology constructions, where the rails are segmented to provide for a soft, even ski flex. The direct connection improves the transfer of power to the edges, and the system allows the skier to initiate turns with even less effort.

Junior 3Motion

If you look at a junior ski, the binding zone takes up a disproportionately large part of the overall ski length. Traditional junior binding systems typically stiffen up that section of the ski. Our engineers recognized the problem and introduced a junior version of the 3Motion system for shorter ski lengths during the 08/09 ski season. The benefit: by separating the attachment rails into two pieces, the Junior 3MOTION no longer disrupts the flex under the foot. When put on edge, the ski carves a perfect turn and is very easy to handle. At the same time, the Junior 3MOTION also features Markerís ultra-safe Biotech toe technology and compact heel.
