Live life to the fullest
Tyler has been skiing since age 3 and competing in halfpipe and slopestyle events for the last 9 years. Considered one of the nicest guys on tour, he also loves to freeski and strives to be a well rounded athlete. He has competed in events such as the Jon Olsson Invitational, World Superpipe Championships, FIS World Championships, US Open, and Open's Freeski Tour. For the last 2 seasons, he has focused his efforts on the Winter Dew Tour. Ty scored the cover shot of this year's Powder Magazine Buyer's Guide.
What is your favorite ski in 2012/2013 Collection?
Why do you like this ski?
All around shredding ski whether it’s 2” or 2’ of freshies.
What conditions do you use this ski for?
What other skis in the 2011/2012 collection do you ride?
Can you tell us a little about each pair of skis, and about what sort of conditions you use them for?
I love Ledge for halfpipe skiing, very smooth and it stays on edge all the way up the pipe wall. I prefer the Wall while skiing park; it’s a super strong ski that won’t fall apart after a season’s worth of hitting rails. And makes for solid landings.
What bindings do you use and where do you mount them?
The Marker Jester pro is my binding of choice. Very light and never releases unless it’s supposed to. My park skis are always center mounted, (including Chopsticks) Shiros are mounted slightly forward of traditional mounting location.
What DIN do you have your bindings on?

Ideal day in the mountains:
2’ of fresh pow with my best friends.
How would you describe your style?
Smooth and precise.
Your biggest breakthrough in your skiing career?
Being invited to the Jon Ollson Invitational.
